QA Automation Engineer Python (BDD Framework) / Bengaluru - Hybrid

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation test scripts and frameworks using Selenium and Python. Your duties will include implementing BDD test automation using Python Behave or Specflow, collaborating with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and write effective test plans, performing functional, integration, regression, and API testing, analyzing test results, reporting bugs, and ensuring high-quality releases. Additionally, you will be expected to integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing, contribute to QA process improvement initiatives, and adhere to automation best practices. The ideal candidate should possess 7+ years of experience in QA/Software Testing with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Selenium automation using Python. You must have experience in building and maintaining BDD frameworks, proficiency in automation testing of Web Applications and RESTful Web Services, strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and manual testing methodologies, and be skilled in designing and executing test cases for both manual and automated testing. Moreover, you should have a solid understanding and application of automation frameworks, test strategies, and tools, as well as proficiency in Python programming for test automation scripting and hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver. Optional skills that would be nice to have include experience using source control tools like GIT or TFS, working knowledge of SQL for database validation and testing, exposure to Salesforce testing environments, familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman and REST-assured, and experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI. Educational qualifications required for this role include a Bachelors/Masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Equivalent work experience in QA Automation with Salesforce, Python, and Selenium is also acceptable. Additionally, it would be beneficial to have experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines and automated deployment/testing workflows, prior experience in Agile/Scrum teams, and certification in Automation Testing or QA-related disciplines.,
