Job Description

Assistant Teacher to PYP Facilitator

Location: DLF Phase 1, Gurgaon

Job Summary:

The Assistant Teacher to the PYP Facilitator supports the daily operations and instructional goals of the PYP department. This role assists in the development and delivery of curriculum-related tasks and provides logistical, organizational, and instructional support to the PYP Facilitator and teaching teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of teaching and learning materials.
Support the documentation of units of inquiry and student learning.
Help organize PYP-related events, exhibitions, and professional development sessions.
Manage scheduling and communication for collaborative planning sessions.
Provide classroom support as needed, especially during demonstration lessons.
Maintain records, resources, and documentation required by the PYP Facilitator.
Collaborate with faculty to ensure smooth delivery of the PYP programme.
Support the implementation of IB learner profile attributes and international-mindedness.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor s degree in Education or related field.
Prior experience working in a school, preferably with IB PYP.
Good organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
Passion for learning and supporting innovative teaching methods.
