Role Position: SAP ABAP HCM Developer Location: Chennai / Remote Experience Required: 6+ years in SAP ABAP with strong expertise in HCM module Employment Type: Full Time Joining Timeline: Immediate to 30 days preferred Job Description We are looking for an experienced and certified Senior SAP ABAP HCM Developer to join our SAP Center of Excellence. This role will play a key part in delivering, maintaining, and enhancing our SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) landscape, with a strong focus on ABAP development, agile delivery, and integration with BI systems and DevOps practices. Key Responsibilities * Develop and maintain custom ABAP programs, enhancements, reports, interfaces, and forms in the SAP HCM module (PA, OM, PY, PT, etc.). * Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to analyze requirements and implement SAP HCM solutions that align with HR strategies. * Support end-to-end SAP HCM implementations, upgrades, and support projects, ensuring adherence to best practices and SAP standards. * Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage source code and collaborate with development teams. * Participate in Agile sprint cycles, including planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. * Design and develop integrations with SAP BI, SAP BW, and third-party reporting tools to support HR analytics and reporting needs. * Optimize existing code and troubleshoot complex issues to ensure high system performance and data integrity. * Ensure compliance with internal security, data privacy, and SAP audit requirements. Required Skills & Qualifications * SAP HCM Certification(s) in ABAP or functional modules (PA, PY, OM, PT). * 6+ years of hands-on experience in ABAP development specific to SAP HCM, including classical and object-oriented programming. * Deep understanding of SAP HCM data models, infotypes, clusters, and schema enhancements. * Stong experience in implementing and supporting SAP HCM modules such as Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Payroll, and Time Management. * Proficiency with version control tools like Git, GitHub, or Azure DevOps. * Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with continuous integration/deployment practices. * Good understanding of data warehousing and BI concepts, especially in relation to SAP HCM reporting. Preferred Skills * Exposure to SuccessFactors integration with SAP HCM or hybrid landscape experience. * Experience with SAP Fiori / UI5 apps for HCM scenarios is a plus. * Familiarity with Workflow, ALE/IDOC, and BAPIs in HR modules. * Basic knowledge of HANA-based performance tuning for ABAP programs. Education & Experience * Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline. * Minimum 610 years of SAP ABAP HCM experience, including at least 2 full lifecycle implementations. Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Deep Learning, NLP,CV, MLOps and its related technologies. Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and deploy state-of-the-art NLP and CV models and algorithm - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop customised NLP & CV solutions and have experience in building the python backend using Flask / Django. - Database integration preferably using MongoDB or any other vector databases. - Maintain and improve the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of existing AI/ML models and their deployment on Cloud platforms (AWS) and monitor their performance using MLOps tools such as MLFlow, DVC. - Experience in building End to End data pipelines - Stay updated with emerging AI/ML technologies, LLMs ,RAG - Conduct regular performance evaluations of AI/ML models using production grade MLOps solutions. - Troubleshoot and resolve any issues arising from the implementation of NLP & CV models. - Develop and monitor the code that runs in production environments using MLOps practices. Requirements: - Strong experience with Deep learning and NLP frameworks such as TensorFlow or other open-source machine learning frameworks. - Experience of using both tensorflow and pytorch frameworks - Proficient in programming languages, such as Python or Java, and experience with AI/ML libraries. - Familiarity with the integration of APIs, such as REST API, OpenAI API, for implementing advanced AI-driven features. - Solid understanding of Machine learning and Deep learning algorithms, concepts, and best practices in a production environment using MLOps. - Experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop and Spark, is a plus. - Strong problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members from various disciplines. - Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
