As a System Engineering Intern based in Karnataka, India, you will play a vital role in system engineering, troubleshooting, and working on various drone subsystems such as propulsion, avionics, and battery systems. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with our technical and product teams to grasp the qualitative requirements of the final product and implementing them effectively. You will be expected to make well-informed decisions at the subsystem and component levels to fulfill engineering and program requirements. Moreover, your input from cross-functional collaboration, adherence to industry standards, and adoption of best practices will be crucial in the continuous enhancement of our product. To excel in this role, you should possess experience in testing and operating small UAS and/or RC aircraft, whether fixed-wing or multirotor systems. Additionally, familiarity with flight-planning and ground control station software, as well as knowledge of UAV platforms like Pixhawk, DJI, Ardupilot, and PX4, will be advantageous. Proficiency in integrating, operating, and fine-tuning autopilots on diverse unmanned vehicles is essential. Basic familiarity with electrical test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes, along with UAS sensors, is required. Furthermore, the ability to write Python and modern C++ using an object-oriented approach is necessary, with prior experience in Robotics being a valuable asset to your candidacy.,
