Job Description

General Responsibilities:

Ø Assist the Purchase and Store Manager in all Management reports for the Resort by ensuring timely availability of the same as required.

Ø Responsible for daily operations of the Purchase Department in an orderly manner.

Ø Follows immaculate grooming standards in line with the resort’s grooming policy.

Ø Possesses good product knowledge including types of rooms, resorts facilities, restaurant operational hours, special functions and events held at the resort.

Ø Should be well versed in the departmental BRISOP (Brand Rosetta Integrated Standard Operating Protocols).

Ø Conduct self in a professional manner at all times.

Ø Maintain professional confidentiality and never disclose any information about guests and the company.

Specific Responsibilities:

Ø Assist the operational departments through local purchases on day to day basis.

Ø Identifying requirements for goods, materials, and services.

Ø Research potential vendors and identifying the most reliable ones.

Ø Negotiates price with vendors.

Ø Establishing and reviews the order quantities of purchased products.

Ø Writing requests for bids and awarding supply contracts.

Ø Coordinating delivery with the vendors against available storage capacities.

Ø Product testing and quality control.

Ø Managing budgets and payments for procurement.

Ø Other duties as and when assigned by the Manager – Purchase and Stores.

Ø Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers

Ø Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing.

Ø Track orders and ensure timely delivery.

Ø Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases.

Ø Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.

Ø Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses.

Ø Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed

Ø Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage

Ø Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with industry trends
