Job Title: Purchase Assistant – Firefighting Department: Procurement / Purchase Location: 623, Goldcrest Business Park, Opp. Shreyas Cinema, LBS Road, Ghatkopar West, Mumbai – 400086 Working Days: Monday to Saturday Work Timings: 10:00 A.M. – 7:00 P.M. Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchase Assistant with experience in the Firefighting or MEP contracting industry. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in the procurement of goods and services, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring all purchases are made efficiently and as per company policies. Key Responsibilities: Support procurement activities for sourcing materials and services Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations and negotiate pricing Prepare and place purchase orders; track and follow up on deliveries Maintain accurate purchase records, supplier lists, and contracts Ensure compliance with procurement procedures and company policies Assist with inventory management and stock control Coordinate with internal teams and provide procurement-related support Participate in vendor evaluation and selection processes Generate reports related to purchasing activities as required Perform other procurement duties assigned by the Manager Required Skill Set: Good understanding of purchase processes and procurement lifecycle Knowledge of Google Sheets and MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.) Strong negotiation and communication skills Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines Self-motivated and able to work both independently and in a team Qualifications: B.Com or B.E. (Mechanical) 2–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a Firefighting or MEP contracting company Prior experience with procurement procedures is a strong advantage Preferred Candidate Profile: Prior experience in a firefighting or MEP contracting company Knowledge of relevant products, vendors, and procurement challenges in the industry Performance-driven mindset with a willingness to take initiative Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹34,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
