Job Description Job Responsibilities – Assess emotional and mental well-being of residents Provide counseling and therapy to individuals dealing with trauma, neglect, abuse, or abandonment Create supportive, trust-based relationships with residents Conduct group sessions to improve emotional resilience, self-esteem, and social skills Develop personalized care plans in coordination with social workers and caregivers Address behavioral issues and support conflict resolution Maintain confidential psychological records and progress notes Offer guidance to staff on handling residents’ emotional needs Conduct mental health awareness and life skills sessions Requirements Skills Required Deep empathy and cultural sensitivity Experience working with vulnerable or marginalized populations Strong counseling and crisis intervention skills Good communication in Malayalam and basic English Ability to work in emotionally challenging environments Team collaboration with social workers, nurses, and support staff Understanding of trauma-informed care Patience, emotional resilience, and ethical practice Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person Application Deadline: 11/06/2025
