Psychiatric Social Worker

As a valuable member of our team, you will be responsible for providing support and coordination to psychiatrists and psychologists in order to motivate patients towards recovery. Your role will involve assisting patients in preparing for abstinence and long-term rehabilitation, as well as engaging in regular follow-up visits to detoxified patients through OPD. Additionally, you will perform domiciliary visits to aid in the reintegration and rehabilitation of patients in society. You will also be expected to coordinate with NGOs and external support systems to ensure the welfare of patients, provide emergency assistance, and offer follow-up support services. Furthermore, you will be required to undertake any additional duties as assigned by senior officers. To excel in this role, you must possess strong interpersonal and motivational skills. An understanding of mental health issues and community-based treatment approaches is crucial. Field work readiness, including home visits, is a key requirement for this position. You should also demonstrate empathy and maintain a service-oriented mindset at all times. This is a full-time position with benefits such as health insurance and Provident Fund.
