We are currently looking for a skilled Research Scientist with hands-on expertise in IHC, ISH, and FISH, capable of evaluating stains using both brightfield and fluorescence microscopy as well as digital slide scanners. If you thrive at the intersection of molecular pathology and automation, this role is for you. As a Research Scientist at OmicsVeu, your key responsibilities will include designing and validating oligonucleotide probes for DNA and mRNA biomarker detection, analyzing and interpreting tissue staining results (IHC, ISH, FISH) using both manual microscopy and digital pathology platforms, optimizing and validating staining protocols on fully automated systems, ensuring assay precision, sensitivity, and reproducibility across singleplex and multiplex workflows, maintaining compliance with ISO 13485, US FDA regulations, and cGMP practices, collaborating with manufacturing and quality teams to support product development and scalability, as well as contributing to documentation and reporting in accordance with regulatory and quality standards. The ideal candidate for this position would possess an MSc or PhD in Molecular Pathology, Molecular Biology, or Life Sciences, or several years of experience in a high-throughput histopathology lab. They should have a strong command of IHC, ISH, and FISH assay development and troubleshooting, be skilled in oligo probe design and protocol optimization, comfortable working with automated imaging and staining platforms, and be familiar with regulated quality systems and documentation practices.
