You will be part of the Smart Infrastructure Division at Siemens Ltd., a global leader in supplying products, systems, solutions, and services for efficient transmission and distribution of electrical power. Your responsibilities will include System Designing and Application Engineering for MV AIS panels for both domestic and export projects. This entails technical review of order inputs, creating engineering drawings such as GA, SLD, and schematic drawings, obtaining drawing approvals from customers, and coordinating with various teams including order management, mechanical design, logistics, and drafting vendors. To excel in this role, you should have a good understanding of Medium voltage power distribution systems and AIS panels, knowledge of IS/IEC standards for MV systems, expertise in tools like AutoCADD, ELCAD, Promis, and E Base, familiarity with Protection Philosophy and control philosophy of substations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage with clients independently for technical discussions. Experience in working with major Engineering consultants like EIL, TCE, AECOM, and others will be advantageous. The ideal candidate will hold a B.E. in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 6 to 8 years of relevant experience.
