Project Manager (Industrial Automation)

Role & responsibilities:

Job Title / Designation: Project Manager to Associate Director based on experience & expertise

Business Unit : Embedded Engineering Services (EES)

Industry Experience Range : 8+ years

Job Location: Pune Only

Shift: General Shift (Mon-Fri)

Job Function, Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead technology initiatives for strategizing and owning Industry 4.0 and related business practices, with relevant experience in Industry 4.0 & IIoT
• Project requirements understanding, dissemination into individual tasks, effort estimation and planning
• Interface with global customers for project status accounting, task planning and delivery
• Stakeholder management from cross-functional teams within organization and external vendors/partners
• Escalation management from customers or internal stakeholders
• Understand business pipeline through sales and senior management, define hiring plans and conduct interviews

Experience: 8+ years in Embedded field, with a substantial focus on industrial domain, industrial automation, Industrial IOT(IIOT), predictive maintenance. Must have Service Industry Experience (at least in the last 5 years).

Preferred candidate profile

Area of expertise:

• Expertise in industrial projects with manufacturing applications, controls, and analytics, with good exposure to PLC, DCS and SCADA systems
• Expertise in working with industrial interfaces and protocols such as MODBUS, PROFIBUS, FIELDBUS, OPC UA, Devicenet, BACnet, Ethernet.
• Expertise in Embedded firmware development for Industrial IoT (IIoT) domain applications.
• Expertise in various MPU and MCU commonly used in Industrial domain & automation applications.
• Expertise in bare metal, RTOS and device driver development.
• Experience in Strategic Account Management and long-term Growth

account mining techniques to identify new opportunities,

customer success responsibility,

presales and solutioning (technical and business proposals),

architecting for overall solutions,

team building to meet customer requirements

• Must have worked with European or American customers from Industrial domain
• Open to travel along with sales team to meet customers for business development and delivery management - both within and outside India

Nice to have

• Experience in networking protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, MQTT, HTTP, GSM, GPRS
• Experience in wireless technologies such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Matter, BLE, Threads, Wi-Fi, and Sub-GHz
• Experience in serial communication interfaces such as RS-232, RS-485, I2C, SPI, CAN
• Aware about the Industrial Safety Standards ISO, IEC, Safety Systems, Safety Relays, Fail Safe Mechanisms.

BE/ME/B.Tech/M.Tech Electronics / Electronics & Communications

Travel:

We expect flexibility to travel to the customer locations within or outside India on business trips and short deployments.
