Required Computer Science & Engineering Professor FOR B- Tech Students who can develops and delivers course materials, conducts research, mentors students, and contributes to curriculum development, also can participate in academic committees, provide academic advising, and may engage in grant writing and industry collaborations. Specific responsibilities can include teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, conducting research, publishing findings, and supervising students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development and Delivery:

Designing and delivering lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in computer science and related fields.

• Research:

Conducting independent research, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and securing research grants.

• Student Mentorship:

Providing academic guidance, mentoring, and supervising students at various levels.(UG, PG & PHD)

• Academic Leadership:

Contributing to departmental and institutional activities, serving on committees, and participating in strategic planning.

• Assessment and Evaluation:

Evaluating student performance through exams, assignments, and projects.

• Professional Development:

Engaging in continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest trends in the field.

Specific tasks may include:

• Developing and implementing innovative instructional methods.
• Supervising and supporting teaching assistants.
• Participating in departmental and college activities.
• Assessing, reviewing, and evaluating student activities and progress.
• Contributing to institutional accreditations (e.g., NBA, NAAC, AICTE).
• Participating in exam duties, audits, and other institutional processes.
• Collaborating with colleagues on research and teaching initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Typically requires a PhD in Computer Science plus B-Tech & M-tech or a related field.
• Should have experience of teaching minimum 2 years and above.
• Strong background in computer science principles and practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research.
• Experience with academic advising and student mentorship.
• Knowledge of educational technologies and e-learning methodologies.
