Role & responsibilities Sharda University is currently engaged in several ongoing and upcoming Research & Development activities across schools presenting a strong platform for multidisciplinary research. To further strengthen its research and innovation base on emerging technologies the University needs support and direction of dedicated researchers as Professor of Practice having exemplary subject domain knowledge. Such professionals likely to be superannuate and or have superannuated from various institutes / organizations / universities may be hired as Professors of Practice who shall not only guide our faculty in these emerging technology domains, but also help to lead the university for meaningful outcomes in terms of quality, patents, publications, technology development, support to incubators/ startups, technology transfers etc. Preferred candidate profile Preferred technology areas and institutes would include: - Quantum Technologies from IISC/IISER/IITs - Semiconductor Technologies from IISC/IITs/NPL/SSPL/DRDO - Robotics & Autonomous Vehicles from IITK/IITD/Industries - Bio Medical Devices from ICMR/DBT/IISC/IITs - Hydrogen production and its storage from IITK/IITKGP/Industries Their active involvement will not only strengthen the translational research ecosystem but also bridge the gap between academia and industry requirements by creating a vibrant research and innovation ecosystem Remuneration as per industry norms
