Production Assistant for Food Industry

You are a motivated and detail-oriented Production Assistant who will be supporting the daily operations of a food production line located in Supa, Ahmednagar. Your responsibilities will include assisting in food preparation, processing, packaging, and maintaining quality control of food products to ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Your key responsibilities will involve assisting with food preparation, cooking, or assembly based on production plans, monitoring product quality and reporting deviations or issues to the supervisor, labeling, packaging, and storing products correctly, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the work area according to food safety standards, following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production schedules, assisting in inventory checks and restocking of supplies, and scheduling timely packaging of finished goods. To be successful in this role, you should possess a High School Diploma or equivalent, with vocational training considered a plus. Prior experience in food production or manufacturing is preferred, along with a basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards such as HACCP and GMP. This is a full-time, shift-based position located in Supa, Ahmednagar. You will be reporting to the Production Supervisor/Manager and working in person at the designated work location.
