Product Owner

As a Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our product initiatives by collaborating closely with product teams. Your primary responsibilities will involve organizing, prioritizing, and assessing work for the Scrum team. To excel in this position, you must possess a deep understanding of user needs and be adept at working with cross-functional teams to ensure effective management of product releases. With a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, you should bring valuable domain expertise in the airline industry, specifically in crew planning or tracking operations. Your key skills should include excellent communication, documentation, and presentation abilities. You must be proficient in articulating ideas clearly and concisely, as well as in requirements specification and writing user stories. A strong grasp of Agile methodologies, Scrum practices, and IT industry standards in software development will be essential for this role. In this position, you will lead Scrum teams as the Product Owner, providing clear vision and direction to Agile development teams and stakeholders. It will be your responsibility to ensure that the team always has a well-prepared and prioritized backlog, collaborate with Product Managers on maintaining and planning the product roadmap, and oversee the quality of product releases delivered to customers. Your day-to-day tasks will also include conducting backlog grooming, owning and driving sprint planning and sprint reviews, defining and communicating sprint goals, actively participating in sprint retrospectives, and supporting Airline Consultants in epic reviews, grooming, and feasibility checks with development/technical teams. Additionally, you will stay updated on product capabilities and business processes, maintain up-to-date product documentation, assist consultants with pre-sales activities, conduct ongoing business training for the delivery team, and stay informed about the latest Agile/Scrum best practices and industry trends.
