Product Engineer Mobile Development Android

As a product engineer in the Mobile development group, you will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and scaling various modules of a mobile app. You are a research-oriented technology person who can take the responsibility to build and release deliveries of the mobile application. Your primary roles and responsibilities will include designing and building advanced applications for the Android Mobile platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, unit-testing code for robustness, continuously discovering, evaluating, and implementing new technologies to maximize development efficiency, ensuring delivery schedules, conducting code reviews, and maintaining the quality of code. You will also be responsible for planning and delivering features in good quality and in time. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in CSE / IT / ECE or M.C.A. with a good academic background and software product development experience. You should possess 2+ years of experience in android software development and have experience working with Android frameworks such as Activity Manager, Resource Manager, Content Providers, View System, Notification Manager, and Location Manager. Experience with third-party libraries and APIs, working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies, as well as a solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle are essential. Additionally, you should have a good understanding of agile methodologies, iterative development, scrum, excellent communication skills, attitude, and aptitude. Prior start-up experience will be considered a significant advantage. Cross-Platform Frameworks (PhoneGap, IONIC) hands-on experience is also a plus.
