Role & responsibilities We are looking for a uPVC Window Product engineer with technical expertise in fabricating high-quality uPVC doors, windows, and faade elements. The ideal candidate should be experienced in handling fabrication machinery, reading technical drawings, and ensuring products meet industry standards. Key Responsibilities: • Read and interpret window/door fabrication drawings and specifications. • Cut, assemble, and fabricate uPVC profiles using standard fabrication tools and machines (welding machines, routers, saws, etc.). • Install necessary hardware like hinges, handles, locks, and gaskets. • Perform welding and corner cleaning for uPVC frames as per standards. • Ensure dimensional accuracy and quality check at each stage of fabrication. • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. • Collaborate with design, production, and installation teams for project requirements. • Identify and report any issues or discrepancies during fabrication. This involves work across many steps in the product life cycle. Because of the product centered nature of this position, they are very often a central point of coordination and decision making between product line engineers, customer teams, systems engineers, purchasing, suppliers and manufacturing.
