Role & responsibilities Compare proposals for price and specifications Negotiate with vendors to reduce costs Review contract specifications on behalf of the company Communicate with vendors to ensure that the product arrives in a timely fashion Build and maintain long-term relationships with critical suppliers Use technological systems that track the shipment, inventory and supply of materials Prepare daily, weekly and monthly procurement reports Keep abreast of changing industry trends Preferred candidate profile Previous working experience in Procurement for 2-3 years in an Engineering Industry/ Construction Equipment Industry. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering /B.SC Science Knowledge of contracts, invoicing, and commercial terms Basic negotiation skills Organizational and time management skills Salary Rs 2,40,000 ~ 3,60,000 PA. Plus PF, Bonus, Insurance and other benefits as per company policy.
