You will be responsible for reviewing strength and other design related calculations, as well as designing static equipment/pressure vessels using software such as Pvelite and Compress. You will lead a team of draftsmen in preparing GA and detailed fabrication drawings, ensuring drawings are reviewed and approved by clients throughout the project execution. Additionally, you will be involved in the preparation of project-related design documents and updating documentation for static equipment/pressure vessels. In this role, you will also be responsible for tasks such as reading client specifications, preparing PRs, design development, design review, and providing support for the fabrication of static equipment/pressure vessel design. Client and vendor visits may be required based on work demands. The ideal candidate should have 10 to 20 years of experience in designing pressure vessels, process columns, heat exchangers, etc., preferably from heavy equipment manufacturing industries or EPC design engineering consultancy. Proficiency in international design codes like ASME, EN, PD-5500, TEMA standards/codes, and specifications is essential. Familiarity with software such as AUTOCAD, Compress, PV-Elite, and nozzle-pro is required. Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and experience with software like Ansys will be advantageous. Strong multitasking skills and the ability to manage projects independently throughout the design life cycle are key for this role. Effective communication with clients, vendors, and internal cross-functional teams is crucial. A proactive approach, good communication skills, cost consciousness, out-of-the-box thinking, and a strong teamwork spirit are important behavioral skills expected in this position.,
