As a Principal Engineer / Software System Architect in the Connectivity division at HARMAN Automotive, you will play a key role in developing automotive embedded software with a focus on telematics. Your responsibilities will include defining and maintaining the architecture for on-board telematics units, leading system design and integration, ensuring compliance with automotive standards, and working hands-on with embedded software technologies such as C/C++, RTOS, and Linux. You will drive the development of secure, reliable, and scalable solutions for connected vehicles. To excel in this role, you should possess at least 14 years of experience in automotive embedded software with a strong background in system architecture for telematics. Deep knowledge of vehicle networks, proficiency in C/C++, RTOS, Linux/Android Automotive platforms, familiarity with connectivity modules, antenna systems, hardware-software integration, debugging skills, and experience in cybersecurity and secure communication for connected vehicles are essential requirements. Additionally, strong communication, documentation, problem-solving, and integration skills are crucial for success in this position.
