Product Design & Development Lead the design and development of LV & MV current transformers (CTs) as per IEC, IS, ANSI, and other applicable standards. Create and validate design concepts using simulation tools (e.g., FEM, Maxwell, SolidWorks). Drive product development lifecycle from concept through prototyping, validation, and release. 2. Engineering & Compliance Ensure all product designs meet electrical, thermal, and mechanical performance criteria. Prepare and review detailed engineering drawings, BOMs, and design documentation. R&D Strategy & Innovation Identify opportunities for innovation in product design, materials, and manufacturing methods. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong technical knowledge in LV/MV instrument transformers (CT/PT). Proficiency in design software: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ANSYS Maxwell, or equivalent. Deep understanding of insulation systems, resin casting, toroidal core design, and magnetic behavior. Knowledge of testing norms: IS 16227, IS 2705, IEC 61869, etc. Good analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
