Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning & Scheduling

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and project schedules.
  
• Prioritize jobs based on delivery commitments, material availability, and machine capacity.
  
• Coordinate with the design/engineering team for BOM and drawing release.
  

2. Material & Inventory Management

• Monitor raw material (e.g., HR/CR sheets, coils, tubes) availability as per job cards.
  
• Raise purchase requests or stock transfer notes as required.
  
• Maintain optimal inventory levels for fast-moving components and accessories.
  

3. Capacity & Resource Planning

• Analyze and allocate machine and manpower capacity (e.g., roll forming lines, punching presses, welding stations, powder coating booths).
  
• Plan subcontracting activities if in-house capacity is insufficient.
  

4. Process Coordination

• Track WIP (work-in-progress) across cutting, forming, fabrication, powder coating, and assembly departments.
  
• Liaise with production, QC, store, dispatch, and logistics teams to streamline operations.
  

5. Monitoring & Reporting

• Monitor actual vs. planned production progress and address bottlenecks.
  
• Generate MIS reports on production output, delays, resource utilization, and delivery status.
  

6. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure production is in line with ISO/QMS standards.
  
• Work with QA/QC to ensure proper inspections and rectify quality deviations before dispatch.
  

7. Continuous Improvement

• Suggest and implement improvements in scheduling, routing, and layout planning to reduce cycle time and improve efficiency.
  
• Support lean manufacturing, 5S, and ERP integration initiatives.
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education:

  Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.

• Experience:

  0 4 years in PPC, preferably in racking, structural fabrication, or steel furniture industry.

• Technical Skills:

• Hands-on experience with racking components: uprights, beams, bracings, decking panels, etc.
  
• Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or custom manufacturing ERPs).
  
• MS Excel proficiency for scheduling and data analysis.
