Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer Location: Bangalore, India Experience Required: 4 to 6 Years Key Responsibilities: Design and develop Electrical Power Panels and Control Panels with PLCs based on customer specifications. Create and maintain technical documentation including P&IDs, wiring schematics, instrumentation lists, and BOMs . Work closely with PLC and Mechanical Engineering teams at the IRETC (Innovation, Research & Engineering Technology Center) for successful product development. Develop project plans and tracking mechanisms , ensuring alignment with master project schedules. Participate in design reviews and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and compliance standards. Interpret Control Narratives and Cause & Effect Matrices to develop logic and functional diagrams. Required Skills: Exposure to PLC programming , particularly with Siemens platforms . Experience collaborating with North American or European engineering teams Familiarity with Electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, cable tray layouts, and JB layouts . Experience with Engineer-to-Order (ETO) or Custom Order projects , preferably in the Pharma, Biopharma , or Heavy Machinery sectors. Knowledge of pneumatic and electrical control valves , and selection of LV/MV/HV motors . Experience in instrumentation and electrical systems design for large-scale process equipment in pharmaceutical, petrochemical, food, or beverage industries.
