JD for Power Bi. Key Responsibilities: Develop and Maintain Power BI Reports and Dashboards: Create visually compelling and interactive dashboards and reports based on business requirements, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Data Modeling and DAX: Design and implement efficient data models, utilizing DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for calculations and measures. Data Transformation and ETL: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources (SQL, Excel, APIs, etc.) using Power Query, ensuring data quality and integrity. Performance Optimization: Optimize Power BI solutions for performance and scalability, ensuring quick report loading and efficient data processing. Security and Access Control: Implement row-level security (RLS) and other security measures to protect sensitive data. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and communicate findings effectively. Technical Documentation: Maintain technical documentation related to Power BI reports and workflows. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest Power BI and Microsoft analytics features and best practices. Integration with Other Tools: Potentially integrate Power BI with other tools like Azure, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Python-based scripts when needed. SQL and Data Warehouse Expertise: Strong expertise in back-end database development (i.e., Microsoft SQL) and experience with data warehousing concepts.
