As a Senior Mechatronics Engineer at Eternal Robotics Hypervise, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing cutting-edge automation systems that leverage advanced computer vision and edge AI technologies. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related engineering discipline with a minimum of 5 years of experience in automation, system integration, or mechatronics. Proficiency in CAD tools like SolidWorks and AutoCAD, a strong grasp of control systems, sensors, actuators, and programming languages such as C++, Python, and PLC environments are essential. Familiarity with communication protocols and experience with machine vision systems and robotic arms will be advantageous. Apart from technical skills, the role also requires strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and customer-facing teams. Role Overview As a seasoned Senior Mechatronics Engineer at Eternal Robotics, you will be responsible for system architecture design, component selection, and hands-on automation deployment. Your role will involve conceptualizing and delivering mechatronic systems that seamlessly integrate mechanical, electrical, and AI-driven technologies. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including software, AI, and hardware engineers, will be essential to ensure the successful execution and deployment of Hypervise-based automation solutions in client environments. Key Responsibilities Engineering Systems Design - Architect end-to-end automation systems by integrating mechanical, electrical, and AI components. - Develop system flow diagrams, functional architecture, and DFMEA documentation. - Translate business and technical requirements into efficient system designs. Electronics & Component Selection - Evaluate and select appropriate sensors, actuators, controllers, and electronics. - Prepare BOMs to ensure cost-effectiveness, performance, and compatibility. Mechanical-Electronic Integration - Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure the seamless integration of mechanical and electronic systems. - Support structural and functional alignment throughout the design process. Integration Testing - Design and document unit/system test cases for validation and debugging. - Conduct integration testing to achieve >90% FAT and 100% SAT success rates. - Identify, analyze, and resolve issues before deployment. Hypervise Deployment - Lead and support the deployment of Hypervise systems into production. - Engage with field teams for on-site implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting. - Monitor and optimize system performance post-deployment. Qualifications & Experience - Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related engineering discipline (Master's preferred). - Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation, system integration, or mechatronics. Technical Skills - Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for mechanical design. - Strong understanding of control systems, sensors, actuators, and PLC/SCADA platforms. - Programming experience in C++, Python, and PLC environments. - Familiarity with communication protocols: Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, TCP/IP. - Experience with machine vision systems, robotic arms, and 3D vision is advantageous. Soft Skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to coordinate with cross-functional and customer-facing teams. - Detail-oriented and focused on documentation. Key Result Areas (KRAs) - Accurate and timely development of system architecture. - Efficient and performance-driven component selection. - High-quality mechanical-electronic integration. - Effective execution of integration testing with minimal rework. - Timely and seamless deployment of Hypervise systems.
