Job Description: Understanding of industrial processes, supply chain management, logistics, manufacturing or other fields related to the specific industry they work in. Input gathering, data analysis, Continuous Improvement and Automation Concept preparation. Able to think on an abstract conceptual level, as well can dive into details if required. Taking the initiative and can work on various projects simultaneously if required. Develop and maintain simulation models using Technomatix Plant Simulation software for manufacturing systems and processes. Analyse and interpret simulation results to optimize production efficiency and workflows. Conduct feasibility studies for new projects using simulation models. Perform scenario analysis to identify bottlenecks, test process changes, and recommend improvements. Develop custom automation scripts to enhance simulation models. Document simulation assumptions, parameters, and findings. Develop and maintain digital twin models using Technomatix Plant Simulation to mirror physical production systems. Integrate real-time data from manufacturing systems into simulation models. Monitor the performance of digital twins and update them as system changes occur. Use of standard interface module such as OPC Classic, PLC SIM advanced etc. Collaborate with engineering teams to validate the accuracy and reliability of digital twin models. Provide insights from simulations to support predictive maintenance, capacity planning, and process optimization. Model the integration of robots, automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and other automation technologies. Analyse simulation results to optimize robot movements, throughput, and equipment utilization.

Role & responsibilities 1. Work on Discrete Event Simulation engagements for Manufacturing / Warehouse simulation 2. Create As-Is and To-be models of the manufacturing process / warehousing operations using discrete event simulation software 3. Throughput, bottleneck and utilization analysis of production / warehouse operations through simulation model 4. Conduct What-If scenario analysis for multiple scenarios through simulation model 5. Optimize manufacturing / warehouse processes using modeling techniques Preferred candidate profile 1. Experience in Plant simulation and process optimization 2. Skilled in at least one of the leading discrete event simulation software (preferably FlexSim or Visual Components) 3. Good knowledge in statistical analysis 4. Experience in improving line efficiency and productivity through modeling techniques 5. Good knowledge in improvement methodologies such as line balancing, process planning etc. 6. Exposure to shop floor and / or warehousing operations 7. Practical knowledge of manufacturing systems and processes

Required Skills: Ensure the monitoring of the planning and deliverables of the simulation projects; define and apply action plans to reach targets Create/update models based on the layout, start model, and input data provided by EE VPE teams Provide technical documentation (presentations, simulation models, spreadsheets, video files) from flow simulation results Handover results, models, and simulations to the EE simulation team Knowledge of vehicle shop production processes and key production/maintenance KPIs Complete expertise in process and discrete event flow simulation (including dynamic/random failure) Software Skills: Plant Simulation software from Siemens (mandatory), coding knowledge (mandatory), Tecnomatix, PlantSim

Required Qualifications: BE / B.Tech in Mechanical / Industrial Engineer Minimum 5 years of experience in Technomatix Plant simulation, Flexsim simulation software project execution & project lead experience. Proficient experience in Leading multiple simulation projects, interact with various customers, handling the team members to meet the customer project deliverables & expectation. Expert in Technomatix plant simulation & Flexsim simulation software. Strong background in mathematics and statistics to develop accurate models of industrial processes. Experience in Material flow planning, Supply chain data analysis, warehouse process and material handling systems will be an advantage. Ability to read and understand Mechanical drawings, process flow design, VSM Lean manufacturing, Time study analysis, Line balancing and Assembly process planning Basic knowledge in programming languages like Python, C++, Java, Able to understand statistical model, solve logical problem and technical calculations. Able to work in a team or independently Good planning, reporting and presentation skills Should be passionate, willing to accept new challenges Good command of the English language, both verbal and written

Position: Engineer Discrete Event Simulation Location: Baner, Pune What You'll Do: • Conceptualise the simulation process and decompose the modules required for the project. Planning and scheduling of the task among the team. Team Management • Use tools like Tecnomatix Plant Simulation, FlexSim, Emulate3D, and programming languages such as Simtalk, Python, or C++ to design and implement simulation solutions. • Support data analysis and modelling efforts to translate simulation results into actionable insights for improving operational efficiency and decision-making. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure models align with business goals and performance metrics. Experience (in years): 6 to 9 Years Domain of experience: Industrial Engineering & Discrete Event Simulation Tools skillset- Siemens Plant Sim (Primary), Flex SIM, and Any Logic - Education: BE,/B tech in Industrial / Mechanical Engineering -Major Deliverables / Job Profile: Designs, improves, and integrated manufacturing systems which use people, materials, information, equipment, and energy. Research and test design ideas to determine feasibility, utilizing lean manufacturing, kaizen, Six Sigma, and root-cause analysis to formulate and support innovation, corrective actions, and improvements . Discrete Event and In-Plant Logistics Simulation Process Flow, Material Flow and Throughput Simulations: Simulate various material flow scenarios to identify potential bott lenecks, minimized buffer size and optimize throughput. AGV Routes optimization: Simulate AGV operations to identify and mitigate traffic concerns, including static clash detection and gridlock identification. Conduct specific experiments on facility process efficiency, operator travel time, Able to work in both 2D and 3D Simulation. Operator Efficiency: Assess operator travel time . Provide Primarily level 2 and level 3 support that includes – Support Asia & Europe manufacturing sites – for deployment and sustenance of new CMES systems Understand and know the process very well to be able to consult on it. Work with business users and suggest work around in case there are any CMES issues. Provide consulting to plants on how to manage downtime. Execute functional testing for CMES and trainings. Supporting High-value/low-value OR high/low proliferation.
