About the Role:

Plant Head

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations Management

• Ensure 24/7 plant operations with high efficiency, quality output, and cost effectiveness.
  
• Drive production planning, capacity utilization, and downtime reduction strategies.
  
• Implement continuous improvement methodologies like TPM, Six Sigma, and Lean.
  

2. Safety & Compliance

• Enforce Zero Harm culture with EHS standards.
  
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory bodies.
  
• Lead risk assessments, incident investigations, and EHS audits.
  

3. Financial & Budget Control

• Manage plant P&L, budgeting (CAPEX/OPEX), and drive cost-saving initiatives.
  
• Monitor and optimize raw material usage, energy consumption, and waste reduction.
  

4. Team Leadership & Development

• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams (Production, Maintenance, QA, Warehouse, EHS).
  
• Drive performance-based culture through KPIs, employee development, and succession planning.
  

5. Technology & Process Improvement

• Champion automation, digital tools, and process upgrades.
  
• Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to resolve technical bottlenecks.
  

6. Stakeholder Management

• Liaise with senior management, vendors, and regulatory authorities.
  
• Ensure plant objectives are aligned with organizational strategy.

Qualification & Experience:

• B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics, Mechanical, or Production Engineering
  
• MBA in Operations (preferred)
  

• Minimum 18+ years of experience

  in a continuous process plant, with at least 5 years in a Plant Head role managing multi-plant or large-scale operations

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Age: 40 to 45 years
  
• Strong leadership and crisis management skills
  
• Proven experience in TPM, Six Sigma, OEE, and lean manufacturing practices
  
• High financial acumen and budget handling capability
  
• Familiar with SAP (PP/PM modules), MES, SCADA, and Microsoft Office tools
  
• Willingness to travel across plant locations as required
