Responsibilities:

Interface with different companies for placement & internship drives & co-ordinate their smooth conduct
Understand the strengths of IIST, the aspiration of students & help rope in more companies for each placement season
Identify the weaknesses of students & arrange/ provide appropriate soft-skills training, career guidance, mentorship, etc.
Strategize, plan & execute training programs, internship drives & placement drives every season

Qualifications:

BTech + 15 yrs experience
OR
BTech/MTech with MBA + 10 yrs experience
OR
PhD + 8 yrs experience

Experience:

Should be in MNCs/ corporations, currently at a senior managerial position
OR
in tier-I educational institutions as placement officer
