Connecting the solar panels to the electrical system, including wiring, grounding, and weatherproofing, will also be part of your duties. You will need to perform operational checks on the installed solar system to verify power output and functionality and ensure compliance with local building codes and safety standards throughout the installation process. To excel in this role, you should possess physical abilities such as being comfortable working at heights, lifting heavy panels, and climbing ladders. Technical knowledge of electrical systems, solar panel components, and wiring practices is essential. Problem-solving skills will be crucial for troubleshooting installation issues and adapting to unexpected challenges on site. Attention to detail is key for precise measurement and careful installation to ensure optimal system performance. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule. A diploma is preferred for education qualifications, and a minimum of 1 year of total work experience is also preferred. An ITI (Fitter) certification is desirable for this role.
