PHP Wordpress Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled WordPress Developer with expertise in PHP, custom theme creation, plugin development, and a deep understanding of WordPress hooks. Your role will involve constructing high-performance, scalable, and fully customized WordPress websites that meet the specific needs of clients or projects. Responsibilities include developing custom WordPress themes from scratch based on design mockups or specifications, creating and maintaining custom plugins to enhance WordPress functionality, writing clean and well-structured PHP code following WordPress coding standards, utilizing WordPress action and filter hooks to modify core behavior, integrating third-party APIs and external services, ensuring compatibility across various browsers and devices, optimizing websites for performance, SEO, and accessibility, troubleshooting and resolving front-end and back-end issues, and collaborating with designers and project managers for successful project delivery. Required skills and experience for this position include a strong grasp of PHP and WordPress core architecture, proven experience in developing custom WordPress themes and plugins, deep understanding of WordPress hooks, proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (jQuery/AJAX), experience with ACF, Custom Post Types (CPTs), and WordPress APIs, familiarity with version control using Git, understanding of best practices in WordPress security, optimization, and code performance. Nice to have skills include experience with WooCommerce, REST API, or multisite setups, knowledge of Gutenberg block development, familiarity with tools like Composer, Webpack, or npm. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience), along with a minimum of 2 years of professional WordPress development experience, especially with custom themes and plugins.
