Roles and Responsiblities

• Lead the development of diagnostic assays, including nucleic acid-based, immunoassays, and enzymatic tests.
• Design and execute experiments to support assay development and validation in compliance with CLIA/CAP/ISO standards.
• Analyze and interpret complex data sets using statistical and bioinformatics tools.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to optimize assays for diagnostic applications.
• Prepare technical reports, SOPs, validation documentation, and regulatory submissions.
• Troubleshoot assay performance issues and implement corrective actions.
• Mentor junior scientists and research associates.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and regulatory trends in clinical diagnostics.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with automation and high-throughput platforms.
• Familiarity with LDT (Laboratory Developed Tests) and IVD (In Vitro Diagnostic) workflows.
• Knowledge of biomarker discovery and validation.

Work Environment:

• Primarily lab-based with occasional office work.
• Compliance with laboratory safety protocols required.
• Occasional travel for conferences or collaboration may be expected.
