About The Role Version 1 is seeking a highly motivated and talented PeopleSoft Technical Consultant to become a permanent member of our growing PeopleSoft practice. Were looking for a client-facing, technically skilled consultant who is eager to join our team on high-profile PeopleSoft development, implementation and upgrade projects. Qualifications Essential Technical Skills: Significant experience in PeopleSoft technology, including latest releasesExtensive project experienceKnowledge of PeopleSoft applications at recent HCM, Financials or Campus 9.2 versions is essential.Specific knowledge of most of the following is assumed: Application Designer and development experience in most of the following PeopleCode object classes Fluid page building Integration Broker messaging technology including Web Services JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3 AWE and Page Composer BI Publisher, Pivot Grids, Connected Query PeopleSoft Update Manager and operating the Selective Adoption process PeopleTools & associated infrastructure design and management Development lifecycle management process Application, UI/UX, Integration and Reporting design PeopleTools frameworks such as Related Content, Related Actions, Activity Guides, PeopleTools Test Framework, Push Notifications, Portal, Forms Builder, Event Mapping and Search Oversee and quality assure the work of other team members completing the above tasks Ready to work in shifts mainly UK business hours Qualifications A positive, dynamic and flexible attitude Able to work well as part of a mixed team including Functional Consultants, Project Managers and other Technical Consultants Displays passion for the role and a strong desire to deliver to the best of their ability Displays the persistence to complete tasks and the rigor to ensure the solutions are thoroughly tested Displays a passion for learning and developing their skills Documents solutions clearly and shares knowledge freely within our PeopleSoft community Team Player who is also comfortable taking leadership responsibility Excellent English language communication skills are a must Additional Information At Version 1, we believe in providing our employees with a comprehensive benefits package that prioritises their well-being, professional growth, and financial stability. Project Role : Application Developer Project Role Description : Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. Must have skills : PeopleSoft Administration Good to have skills : NA Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary :As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will work closely with the team to ensure the successful delivery of projects and contribute to the overall success of the organization. Roles & Responsibilities:a. Install, configure, and maintain PeopleSoft applications and related components. Apply patches, updates, and upgrades as needed.b. Provide technical support to end-users, including resolving issues, answering queries, and assisting with system navigation and functionality.c. Identify, track, and resolve system issues and incidents. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.d. Manage user access and security roles within PeopleSoft. Implement and maintain security protocols to protect sensitive data and comply with organizational policies.e. Create, update, and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including configuration settings, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides.f. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to test and deploy changes, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Professional & Technical Skills: a. Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PeopleSoft Administration.b. Good Knowledge with PeopleSoft Application Designer, Data Mover, PeopleTools, and Process Scheduler.c. Good to have knowledge in PeopleSoft Integration Broker, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), and third-party integration tools. Ability to design and troubleshoot integration processes.e. Good Experience with managing PeopleSoft updates, patches, and version upgrades. Knowledge of the upgrade process, including testing and deployment strategies.f. Good Experience in diagnosing and resolving complex PeopleSoft issues, including troubleshooting PeopleCode errors, database issues, and application failures.g. Good Experience with configuring and managing PeopleSoft security, including setting up roles, permissions, and access controls. Understanding of Security Role Management and PeopleSoft's Security Administration.h. Good Knowledge of PeopleSoft configuration management practices and tools, including the use of Change Assistant for configuration and deployment.i. Good knowledge in scripting languages such as Shell Scripting or Python for automation and custom administrative tasks.
