Mainframe Operator Z/OS & Payment Systems Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Mainframe Operator with expertise in Z/OS to support and manage mission-critical banking and payment systems. The role involves working on DB2, CICS, Control-M, COBOL, Payment Networks, HP NonStop (Tandem), MQ, DRNet, and BASE24/BESS systems . The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in Mainframe operations and be open to onsite travel to the Middle East as per project requirements. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily operations of Z /OS Mainframe systems ensuring high availability and performance Perform DB2 database management and CICS transaction monitoring Handle Control-M batch job scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting Support COBOL-based application processing in a production environment Operate and support Payment Network systems and interfaces Monitor and manage HP NonStop (Tandem) systems for core payment processing Work with IBM MQ for message queue management and monitoring Manage DRNet replication processes for data integrity across systems Operate and support BASE24/BESS transaction processing systems for ATM/POS operations Collaborate with application support, infrastructure, and client teams to resolve incidents and ensure smooth operations Participate in Disaster Recovery drills and system testing Create and maintain operational documentation, logs, and reports Required Skills & Experience: 6+ years of experience in Mainframe (Z/OS) operations Proficiency in: DB2 CICS Control-M COBOL Payment Network operations HP NonStop (Tandem) IBM MQ (Message Queue) DRNet replication BASE24/BESS Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Good communication and coordination abilities Willingness to work in shifts and provide on-call support when required Additional Requirements: Open for onsite travel to the Middle East
