Internship

About the Role: Are you a curious, systems-minded designer who believes that design is as much about asking the right questions as it is about making things beautiful? Do you see the world of food—not just as consumption, but as culture, experience, sustainability, and community? We're looking for Design Generalists who can move fluidly between conceptual thinking and practical application . Whether it's researching global hospitality trends, mapping restaurant experience journeys, prototyping service blueprints, or storytelling through visual narratives—your contribution will help reimagine how people experience food and hospitality in a changing world. Who You Are: A final-year design student or recent graduate in disciplines such as Communication Design, Experience Design, Industrial Design, Service Design, or Interdisciplinary Design. Deeply passionate about food systems, restaurants, hospitality , and the design opportunities within them. Comfortable wearing multiple hats—researcher, strategist, storyteller, maker. A critical thinker who embraces ambiguity, sees patterns in chaos, and thrives in iterative workflows. What You'll Do: Conduct research into food culture, service ecosystems, design trends, and user behaviors. Contribute to concept development , from speculative futures to grounded, service-ready frameworks. Collaborate with content, editorial, and strategy teams to craft design-driven narratives. Create wireframes, moodboards, visuals, service maps, or whatever format best communicates the idea. Help build frameworks, models, and design systems that can evolve with changing needs. Participate in weekly crits, idea jams, and design rituals with a passionate, interdisciplinary team. Why This Matters: Design plays a crucial role in shaping how we eat, interact, gather, and experience hospitality —from the layout of a tasting menu to the flow of a ghost kitchen. It’s embedded in every touchpoint: space, service, sustainability, emotion. This is your chance to work at the intersection of systems, storytelling, and sensory experience —where food becomes a canvas for design-led thinking. What You’ll Gain: Experience working on live and speculative projects at the edge of food, culture, and design. Exposure to the inner workings of creative studios and food-based ventures. Portfolio-worthy work and potential for long-term collaboration. Recognition through published work, case studies, and concept features. To Apply: Send us your resume, portfolio (or a curated selection of work), and a note on what draws you to the intersection of design + food + hospitality at connect@paxika.com . Show us your range, your curiosity, and the questions you’re asking. We value diversity of thought, background, and lived experience. This role is open to all design thinkers who are ready to reimagine what’s possible. Show more Show less

Co-Founder - Finance - Equity Based Only

India

Full Time

About Paxika Paxika is in its early stages, but our ambition is clear: to build the infrastructure for the culinary world. We're creating a platform that serves chefs, restaurants, and hospitality businesses—not just through services, commerce, and real estate, but through a mindset that puts the industry first. We're not here to disrupt for the sake of it. We’re here to empower those who shape the food world every day—and that requires building from the ground up, thoughtfully and collaboratively. The Role We’re looking for a Finance Lead who sees finance not just as numbers, but as a creative and strategic tool. Someone who understands how early-stage startups raise capital, how investments are structured, and how to support growth across multiple verticals. This is an equity-based , founding team role —not salaried for now. We’re in the process of assembling our core team before raising our first institutional capital. If you're someone who wants to shape something meaningful from day one, this could be the right fit. What You'll Do Fundraising Strategy, Investor Readiness : Build investor materials, manage due diligence, and take part in conversations as we begin outreach. Financial Systems : Design scalable, clean, and founder-friendly finance systems that evolve as we grow—from cap tables to cash flow to forecasts. Creative Capital Thinking : Explore new ways to finance not just Paxika, but our broader ecosystem—chefs, restaurants, and suppliers who may need capital too. Founder Collaboration : Work alongside the founding team to align financial strategy with product, growth, and brand decisions. Long-Term Structuring : Help us think ahead—how do we build financial structures that are fair, sustainable, and investor-ready as we scale? About You Experience in startup fundraising, VC, investment banking, or early-stage finance (even better if in food/hospitality). Strong modeling and analytical skills, but also willing to be hands-on. Comfortable working with ambiguity and helping build clarity. Values-led: You want to build something valuable and meaningful, not just raise for raising’s sake. Open to a long-term commitment as a core founding member . You're looking for equity and ownership, not a temporary gig. Where We Are Now We’re building. Our early foundations are in place, our mission is clear, and we're assembling a team that wants to shape the long game. We're not raising capital yet, but we’re preparing for it—with intention. This role is for someone who can help us do it right from the start. If this sounds like you, let’s talk. Reach out with a short note and your profile to connect@paxika.com We believe this industry deserves better—and we’re trying to build it, one thoughtful decision at a time. Show more Show less

We believe hospitality is not built — it is composed. Thoughtfully. Sensitively. Around people, time, and place. Whether it’s a restaurant that feels like a second home, a boutique retreat tucked into nature, or a culinary studio designed for collaboration — every space tells a story. And behind each one is a designer who understands that form is never just aesthetic, but deeply functional and emotional. We are building a discreet network of experienced architects and spatial designers who work at the intersection of hospitality, food, and experience. This is an invitation to join that circle. The Role You will work on projects across the hospitality spectrum — from destination restaurants and boutique hotels to homestays, culinary spaces, and new-format environments. Each assignment is different — but all share one common thread: founders and operators looking to build with intent. Your role is to translate their vision into spaces that work — operationally, emotionally, and aesthetically. You’ll collaborate with founders, chefs, and project teams to design environments that feel as considered behind the scenes as they do to the guest. Your Contribution Lead or advise on architecture and interior design for hospitality-driven spaces. Translate intent into spatial narratives — with flow, light, function, and feeling at the core. Collaborate with technical consultants: MEP, kitchen planning, structural, and compliance teams. Design with real-world operation in mind — from circulation and zoning to backend functionality. Deliver drawings, layouts, material palettes, renders, and technical documentation as needed. Balance storytelling, systems, and scale — always anchored in purpose and restraint. What We’re Looking For Minimum 10 years of architectural or interior design experience. A portfolio that shows depth in hospitality, food, or experience-focused spaces. Fluency in technical requirements — ventilation, drainage, fire safety, and operational zoning. Past collaborations with chefs, restaurateurs, hoteliers, or property developers. A design voice that is calm, intelligent, and quietly confident. Preferred Experience working with independent brands or founder-led projects. Adaptive reuse, remote locations, or regional formats. Understanding of foodservice infrastructure and guest-centric design. Comfort with site visits or remote collaboration depending on project geography. To Express Interest Please send across: Your portfolio or studio website A short introduction or design philosophy Selected projects relevant to food, hospitality, or experience-led environments e: connect@paxika.com
