We are seeking candidates with experience in Paralegal and Docketing - IP Admin roles, possessing knowledge of IP paralegal functions, patent prosecution laws in key jurisdictions, IP databases, and proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS-Excel. We are seeking a Patent Paralegal with experience in Indian patent prosecution to assist in managing patent filings, legal documentation, and compliance procedures. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Indian Patent Laws, patent filing procedures, and formalities. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and file patent applications (provisional, complete, PCT, and national phase) with the Indian Patent Office (IPO). Handle Form submissions as per the Indian Patents Act (e.g., Form 1, Form 2, Form 3, Form 5, Form 18, Form 27, etc.). Maintain patent prosecution deadlines and ensure timely responses to office actions. Coordinate with patent attorneys, inventors, and clients regarding filings and compliance. Draft and review patent specifications, assignments, declarations, and Power of Attorney documents. Monitor patent renewals, annuities, and portfolio management. Assist in oppositions, hearings, and appeals related to patent matters. Stay updated on Indian IP laws, amendments, and compliance requirements. Exp.- Bachelors degree in Law, Science, Engineering, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience as a Patent Paralegal handling Indian patent prosecution. Familiarity with patent databases, e-filing portals (IPAIRS), and IP management tools. Strong knowledge of Indian Patent Forms and procedures. Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
