As an Urban Designer, your main responsibilities will include creating detailed plans, drawings, and 3D models for urban design projects. You will collaborate with architects, landscape architects, engineers, and city planners to ensure cohesive and sustainable designs. Additionally, conducting research and analysis on demographics, transportation, land use, and zoning regulations will be a key part of your role. You will also be responsible for preparing presentations and reports to effectively communicate design proposals to clients and stakeholders. Furthermore, you will support the supervision of construction and installation of designs to ensure they align with the original plan. It will be essential for you to stay updated with current design trends, technologies, and regulations to excel in this position. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) and a Master's degree in Urban Design or Architecture from a globally reputed institute. Proficiency in design software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite is required. Strong visual communication and presentation skills are essential for effectively conveying design concepts. You should be able to work collaboratively in a team environment and engage with other professionals. A good understanding of zoning regulations and land use policies is necessary. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail will be crucial in this role. Previous experience working on urban projects in India, Southeast Asia, or the MENA region is preferred. Familiarity with software tools such as Rhino, Grasshopper, Revit, and parametric planning and design tools would be advantageous.,
