Packing Machine Operator

You will be responsible for operating and monitoring automatic/semi-automatic packing machines in an FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) setup. This includes machines such as pouch filling, bottle labeling, carton sealing, flow wrap, and shrink wrapping. Your key duties will involve setting up machines according to product type and packaging requirements, performing changeovers and adjustments during production runs, and ensuring proper feeding of raw materials and labels. You will also be required to maintain packaging quality by checking weight, sealing, labeling, and batch coding, while adhering to cleanliness and hygiene standards as per GMP guidelines. Additionally, you will record machine downtime, output, and report any issues to the maintenance or production team, following safety protocols and SOPs strictly. In case of machine breakdowns, you will assist with minor maintenance and notify technicians for major repairs. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in packing machine operations within an FMCG or manufacturing environment. A background in ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields is preferred. You should possess a good understanding of FMCG packaging lines and equipment, along with basic knowledge of machine handling, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting. Physical fitness, alertness, and the ability to work in shifts are essential requirements for this role. Being a team player with a strong focus on quality and safety is crucial to excel in this position. This is a full-time job with a day shift schedule.
