The Pricing and Competition Benchmarking Analyst will develop and implement competitive pricing strategies to optimize revenue, align with market conditions and achieve business objectives. The role involves continuous monitoring of competitors, analyzing market trends, and providing actionable insights to drive pricing decisions and maintain competitive positioning. Role & responsibilities Competitive Benchmarking : Conduct regular analysis of competitor pricing, promotions, and service offerings in the bus and mobility sector. Identify gaps and opportunities in fare structures to maintain a competitive edge. Monitor new entrants and emerging trends in the bus industry, including dynamic and subscription-based pricing models Market Analysis : Evaluate market conditions, customer travel preferences, and regional demand fluctuations to influence pricing strategies. Analyse the impact of festivals, regulatory changes, and local economic conditions on pricing models. Revenue Optimization : Utilize tools to analyse occupancy rates and revenue per trip. Implement dynamic pricing strategies to maximize revenue during peak and high-demand periods. Identify and mitigate risks of underperforming routes through pricing adjustments. Data-Driven Insights : Develop dashboards and reports to track pricing performance, competitor trends, and market share. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement : Work closely with operations, sales, and other internal stakeholders to align pricing strategies with customer acquisition goals. Coordinate with finance teams to evaluate pricing impacts on revenue and profitability. Compliance and Standardization : Ensure adherence to industry regulations and internal pricing policies. Maintain consistent fare structures across channels and partners (OTAs, Own platforms, Offline ticket counters).
