Detailed Job Description of Oracle UIM Developer: 3 -12 years of experience & Strong knowledge of Oracle Unified Inventory Management (UIM) Looking for UIM Developers or should have good experience in Java with Any telecom Inventory management tool experience such as Amdocs Cramer, Blue planet, Ericsson Adaptive Inventory, Granite. UIM (cartridge development , Installation) Extension Points configuration and rule set development Model logical as well as physical inventory in UIM cartridge Integration of UIM with upstream systems using web services SFWS , Custom web services, UIM APIs UIM PSR model & be able to model logical as well as physical inventory in UIM cartridge Able to develop rule sets, extension points, etc in the cartridge. UIM Inventory Managers such as Service Manager, CO Manager, Search Criteria Manager etc Able to develop Calculate Technical Actions for the services. Knowledge on conceptual modelling Good knowledge of Network domain such as Wireless, Cable, DSL, VoIP Enterprise & Retail Voice /Data / GSM implementation experience. Core skills in: UIM, Unix, Java, PL, SQL. Should have good working knowledge in UNIX / LINUX environment / Unix Shell Scripts. Must be able to Experience troubleshooting/configuring base application packages. Must be able to install and maintain documentation standards. Ability to work independently based on inputs from LLD. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Good problem solving skills. Ability and inclination to learn new products, packages quickly. Hands-on experience in developing and debugging WebServices Understanding of the Oracle RODOD/RSDOD Solution . Should possess awareness of TMF/eTOM, SID Data Model & Oracle RODOD/RSDOD Solution 15. Operational Support Systems (OSS) Platform Engineering is a new team within the newly formed Network OSS & Tools functional unit in the Network Product domain at Barclays. The Barclays OSS Platform Engineering team is responsible for the design, build and run of the underlying OSS infrastructure and toolchain across cloud and on-prem that the core systems and tools required to run the Barclays Global Network reside on. To be successful in this role as an Infrastructure Engineer in the Barclays OSS Platform Engineering team, you should possess the following skillsets: Hands-on expertise with IaC, Cloud Platforms, CI/CD Pipelines, Containerization & Orchestration and SRE principles; in a product organization with Network products. Strong Knowledge and demonstrable hands-on experience with Networking - Routing & Switching, Network Security and Data Centre Technologies (BGP, VXLAN/EVPN, Spine-Leaf implementation, NGFW, IDS/IPS, NAC, Segmentation etc). Expertise building highly available and secure networks for low latency and high throughput applications. Expert knowledge of Cloud Networking (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Hybrid cloud connectivity - with expertise setting up TCO efficient resilient cloud connectivity for applications across multiple geo-locations and availability zones. Some other highly valued skills include: Expertise working in Network and infrastructure operational product engineering and knowledge of network element management plane, control plane, data plane and fast switching. A very good understanding of Network Protocols - TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, IPSec, etc. CCNA or equivalent certification an added advantage. Expertise in Network Security and Network Automation an added advantage. Specifically experience with concepts of zero trust, TLS/SSL, VPNs and concepts like gNMI/gRPC, RESTCONF etc. Programming expertise in one of the high-level languages like Python, Java, Golang alongside proficiency in Agile Methodologies Scrum/Kanban, backlog and workflow mgmt. and SRE specific reporting (MTTR, deployment frequency, SLO etc). You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
