Oracle DBA

Responsibilities:-

1. Performance Tuning: Identify and resolve performance issues using Oracle diagnostic tools, such as Oracle Enterprise Manager, SQL Trace.

2. Database Administration: Perform database administration tasks, including backups, recovery, and maintenance.

3. SQL Optimization: Optimize SQL queries and indexing strategies to improve database performance.

4. Database Design: Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database architectures that meet performance and scalability requirements.

5. Capacity Planning: Monitor and analyze database capacity, including disk space, memory, and CPU usage.

6. Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including performance problems, errors, and data corruption.

7. Documentation: Maintain technical documentation, including database design documents, performance tuning guides, and troubleshooting procedures.

Requirements:

1. Oracle Certification: Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Master (OCM) certification or others (any 1 is Mandatory).

2. Oracle Experience: 10+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA, with a focus on performance tuning.

3. Performance Tuning: Strong knowledge of Oracle performance tuning, including SQL optimization, indexing, and caching.

4. Database Administration: Experience with Oracle database administration, including backups, recovery, and maintenance.

5. Scripting and Programming: Proficiency in scripting languages like SQL, PL/SQL, and Python.

6. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
