Position Title: Oracle EBS - Technical Consultant Reporting to: Manager Job Location: Bangalore Experience: 7 to 8 years experience as an Oracle Apps EBS Technical Summary of work Environment and Work performed: Experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Technical Consultant with strong expertise in RICEW components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, and Workflows). Skilled in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms/Reports, XML Publisher, Workflow Builder, and Oracle APIs. Proficient in technical development, customizations, data migrations, and integrating EBS with third-party systems across modules such as Financials, SCM, and HRMS. Strong understanding of functional flows and ability to work closely with functional teams to deliver end-to-end technical solutions. Specific Duties: Design, develop, and implement technical solutions within Oracle Applications EBS R12 environment, leveraging expertise in Workflow, Alerts, OAF, Forms, Reports, Web ADI, RICE components, and CEMLI extensions. Develop and maintain inbound and outbound interfaces using appropriate technologies and integration methodologies. Create and modify custom PLLs to meet specific business requirements. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirement gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support. Develop and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Oracle EBS applications and integrations. Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Skills, Abilities: Strong proficiency in Oracle Workflow, Alerts, Oracle Application Framework (OAF), Forms, Reports, Web ADI, RICE components, and CEMLI extensions. Extensive experience in developing and managing inbound and outbound interfaces. Proficient in developing and customizing custom PLLs. Solid understanding of Oracle EBS R12 architecture and modules. Expertise in PL/SQL, SQL, XML, and Java. Experience with integration technologies such as web services, APIs, SOA, and middleware platforms. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in the Manufacturing (MFG) industry is highly preferred. Experience with Oracle APEX, ECC. Experience with Microsoft SQL and NO SQL Code , Procedures, Performance Tuning. Role & responsibilities Design, develop, and support technical components for Oracle EBS R12 Financial modules. Develop and maintain RICEW components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows). Build and customize WebADIs for mass data entry and upload to various financial modules. Collaborate with functional teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Create and maintain PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages , and database triggers . Develop and support BI Publisher, Oracle Reports, and XML Publisher reports. Customize and extend Oracle Workflows, Forms, and Alerts as per business needs. Work with Subledger Accounting (SLA) rules, custom journal setups, and reporting. Perform data migration and develop custom interfaces using Oracle APIs and Open Interfaces . Troubleshoot, resolve technical issues, and ensure solutions meet performance and quality standards. Support unit testing, system integration testing, and assist in deployments and documentation. Preferred candidate profile Minimum 7+ years of experience in Oracle EBS R12 technical development. Hands-on expertise in Financials modules: GL, AP, AR, FA, Project Billing, SLA . Experience in multi-org, multi-currency environments. Familiarity with AOL objects , personalizations , and Forms/OAF customizations . Understanding of integration with external systems via middleware or web services . Developing Custom Web ADIs , working with Oracle Application Framework (OAF) is a plus.
