OpenShift Engineer-Red Hat

1. Design, deploy, configure, and manage Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform environments.
2. Support application teams in containerizing applications and deploying them on OpenShift.3. Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and patch management of OpenShift clusters.4. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines in OpenShift.5. Monitor performance and ensure high availability and reliability of container infrastructure.6. Troubleshoot issues related to containers, pods, and the OpenShift platform.7. Work with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git, Docker, Helm, etc.8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, system administrators, and network engineers.9. Adhere to IT security and compliance standards in all platform operations.10. Required Skills & Qualifications:3 to 4 years of hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift and container orchestration.Proficiency in Linux systems administration (preferably RHEL).Experience with container technologies (Docker, Podman).Good understanding of DevOps tools and automation (Ansible, Jenkins, Git).Familiarity with networking, load balancing, and firewalls in a container environment.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Red Hat certifications (e.g., EX280) are an added advantage.Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration (EX280) or equivalent certification.Hands-on with Helm charts for managing Kubernetes applications.Experience with Service Mesh/Istio, API gateway configurations, or advanced routing in OpenShift.Exposure to hybrid/multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) integrated with OpenShift.Knowledge of Kubernetes Operators for managing applications at scale.Troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills across the full stack: application, infrastructure, and network layers.Scripting with Python, Bash, or Shell for automating operational tasks.
