Your main responsibilities will include positively influencing Company and contractors personnel to manage their activities safely and in line with Reliance Expectations. You will also be responsible for achieving continuous improvement in safety performance and the elimination or reduction of injuries and incidents. Additionally, you will need to support the Projects Function in maintaining and improving the Operating Management System and foster a positive HSE culture across the Projects organization. Supporting Projects in driving HSE performance improvements, assisting line functionaries in implementing and improving the Operating Management System, and monitoring and assisting in completing corrective action items against scheduled plans will also be part of your role. You will assist line management in implementing S&OR policies, procedures, practices, and standards and help in the interpretation of requirements with respect to Projects activities. Your responsibilities will also include implementing and continually improving critical HSE processes like incident management, emergency management, day-to-day S&OR assurance, training, risk management, hazard identification, ALARP demonstration, control of work, management of change, and contractor HSE management within the Projects organization. Providing HSE support on all phases of the project life cycle, participating in PSSR activities with O&M and Projects team during start-up and commissioning, and coordinating various HSE workshops for different project phases will also be part of your job. Being part of OMS implementation for any function is also required. Education-wise, you should have an Engineering degree and/or equivalent professional qualification in Safety/Fire.
