Job Role and responsibilities: Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Effectively search prospective clients and convert sales leads for our range of Export Service. (International Freight Forwarding - Sea Export) Develop and propose client specific solutions after initial scoping to fulfil Client requirements. The ability to develop client presentations and excel pricing models is a must-have Work with internal stakeholders including Account Management Team, Operations team and Technology teams to offer the best solutions to the clients Manage end-to-end client relationship including pitching, solutions, negotiation, contracting, invoicing, payment collection, result tracking and troubleshooting Ensure daily reporting as per the tools made available from time to time and timely and accurate updating of account data in existing sales systems Retain and grow business from existing merchants through Renewals, Up-sell, Cross-sell, etc Understanding of unit economics, P&L for pricing will be required. Experience in Account Management in Logistics/Operations background will be an added advantage. Skills: Self-driven. You have superior Business Development skills, integrity and great follow-through on tasks. Data-Driven: Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to use data proactively to address opportunities Good communication skill is a must Ability for quick decision making and working independently. Role & responsibilities To drive business growth by identifying, developing, and managing clients in need of customs Freight Forwarding services. The role focuses on generating leads, building strong relationships with importers/exporters, and delivering tailored logistics solutions that comply with international trade and customs regulations. Key Responsibilities: Identify and develop new business opportunities for Freight Forwarding services . Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and presentations to potential clients. Understand clients' logistics requirements and offer appropriate import/export and clearance solutions. Collaborate with operations and documentation teams to ensure timely and compliant service delivery. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs regulations, shipping tariffs, and freight trends. Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs. Maintain CRM records and generate regular sales reports . Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors degree in business, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field (preferred). Minimum 4years of experience in freight forwarding. Knowledge of international shipping, Incoterms, and customs documentation. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. Self-motivated with a results-driven approach. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Preferred Experience: Existing client base in import/export businesses. Position Overview The Executive Ocean Operations (Asia Trade Lane) will play a critical role in managing end-to-end ocean freight shipments, primarily on the Asia trade lane. This role includes complete shipment coordination, documentation handling, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support John Deeres growing logistics operations. Key Responsibilities: End-to-End Shipment Management: Handle full lifecycle of ocean shipments from booking, scheduling, and carrier coordination to delivery follow-up. Ensure all shipping documentation is accurate, compliant, and completed in a timely manner (e.g., B/L, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin). Monitor shipment milestones and proactively address delays or issues. 2. Asia Trade Lane Ownership: Focus on shipments originating from or destined to Asia. Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and internal stakeholders for optimal routing and cost efficiency. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trade regulations and logistics requirements in key Asian markets. 3. Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication: Coordinate with internal departments (procurement, planning, finance, etc.) to ensure alignment on shipping timelines and documentation needs. Act as a point of contact for internal queries related to ocean operations.
