Description We are looking for a skilled Lua/Kong API Gateway developer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in API development and a passion for building scalable and secure APIs. You will play a crucial role in designing and implementing solutions that enhance our API capabilities and improve user experience. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain APIs using Lua within the Kong Gateway framework. Implement API security measures and performance optimizations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for API development. Monitor and troubleshoot API performance issues and resolve them in a timely manner. Document API specifications and maintain up-to-date technical documentation. Skills and Qualifications Strong proficiency in Lua programming language. Experience with Kong API Gateway and its ecosystem. Knowledge of RESTful API design principles and best practices. Familiarity with API security protocols such as OAuth2, JWT, etc. Understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-native applications. Proficient in using version control systems such as Git. Ability to work in an Agile environment and collaborate with diverse teams.
