NVH Attribute Leader

As an NVH Attribute Leader, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the NVH attribute, including Powertrain, Road Noise, Wind Noise, S&R, OSQ, and HVAC. Your role will involve supporting the competitive landscape and defining targets for the NVH attribute to ensure alignment with customers and TTL engineering teams. You will oversee the day-to-day management of the CAE team, ensuring efficient use of the toolset. Identifying NVH-related issues and supporting their resolution will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will ensure that any gaps to target are clearly visible and develop closure plans. Additionally, you will support NVH attribute DVP, including test facilities search and definition, and deliver up-to-date attribute documentation at program gateways. Your role will also involve supporting vehicle build phases in the plant to ensure vehicle suitability for testing. You will work to ensure that vehicle build timing, quantities, and specifications align with PMT requirements for DVP testing, development, and attribute sign-off. Presenting attribute status at program meetings and developing vehicle test plans to demonstrate functional and attribute performance will also be part of your duties. To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on NVH, and a minimum of 10 years of experience in NVH in a relevant industry. A good understanding of NVH design rules and requirements, as well as strong automotive industry experience in vehicle attributes, will be essential. You should have demonstrable knowledge of various vehicle commodities and subsystems and proven ability to work with and manage cross-functional and multicultural teams. Excellent communication skills, relationship building, collaboration, and negotiation skills are crucial for this role. Familiarity with requirements management tools will also be beneficial.,
