The successful candidate will work on the project titled "Emerging magneto-transport and thermoelectric responses in altermagnets for novel application of energy harvesting." The project aims to explore the unconventional magneto-transport and thermoelectric behavior in a novel class of quantum materials known as altermagnets. These materials combine symmetry-protected spin-polarized transport with zero net magnetization. Through theoretical modeling, numerical simulations, and data analysis, the project seeks to uncover mechanisms that enable efficient energy harvesting and spin-caloritronic functionalities. The outcomes of this research could significantly contribute to the design of next-generation energy-efficient devices and green technologies.
