As the Maintenance Manager in a sheet metal fabrication and UPS assembly plant, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and safety of all machinery, tools, and infrastructure within the facility. You will oversee both preventive and corrective maintenance activities, manage the maintenance team, collaborate with the production department, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and enhance equipment performance. Your key responsibilities will include monitoring and executing preventive maintenance schedules for various fabrication equipment such as CNC Punching machines, bending machines, press brakes, Powder coating equipment, shearing machines, welding stations, Transformer winding and Assembly machines, among others. You will need to ensure timely repairs and troubleshooting of breakdowns to minimize downtime, maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, and analyze equipment history to predict potential failures. Additionally, you will lead and supervise the maintenance team, provide training on maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and equipment handling, evaluate performance, facilitate skill development, and manage work schedules. It will be essential for you to maintain an optimal inventory of tools, spare parts, and consumables, including critical spares for critical machines.
