As a Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable server-side applications, building and maintaining RESTful APIs, and ensuring efficient database management. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend services with frontend interfaces and optimize performance. Additionally, you'll ensure security best practices and perform regular testing and debugging for seamless functionality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop, test, and maintain backend components of web applications using Node.js.
Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security of the server-side code.
Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to implement new features and improve existing ones.
Write clean, modular, and reusable code following best practices.
Integrate with various database technologies and ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
Troubleshoot and debug production issues and provide ongoing support.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving team development practices.
Ensure the backend architecture is secure and aligned with business needs.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

3-5 years of experience in Node.js development.
Strong knowledge of database design and querying (eg, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc).
Proficiency in using RESTful APIs and other backend technologies.
Basic understanding of cloud-related services like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Experience in version control systems such as Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code.
Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Experience with TypeScript.
Familiarity with NestJS framework.(Nice to have)
Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
