Role & responsibilities Lead the design team in creating innovative and market-appropriate designs for the export market. Oversee the entire design process from concept to final product, including sketching, fabric selection, and sample development. Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are feasible and meet quality standards. Stay updated on global fashion trends and incorporate them into new collections. Present design concepts and prototypes to clients and stakeholders. Manage and mentor junior designers, providing guidance and feedback. Ensure all designs comply with export regulations and client specifications. Preferred Candidate Profile Bachelors degree in Fashion Design or a related field. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in fashion design, preferably in the garment export industry. Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design skills and successful projects. Excellent knowledge of fabrics, textiles, and garment construction. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Strong creative vision and an eye for detail. Good communication and presentation skills. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
